We have recently added a number of
forms to our web site in an effort to better serve your needs while removing our
email address from our pages to avoid the increasing amount of spam email we
receive. Your input is important to us! If one of our on-line forms
does not serve your purpose, please feel free to email us. However,
if you try to contact us through email and are not on our mailing list,
recent enhancements to our anti-spam software may delete your message before we
are able to read it. If you have an email returned to you or you feel that
you have been blocked by our spam filter, send an email to "donotblock" at this
domain (MendotaAlumni.com). We will not filter email to that address.
If you are on our mailing list, then you are automatically on our "safe sender
list". Your email is not filtered and should reach us normally if you send
it from the address that we have registered for you.
Additionally, to help protect you, we have changed all email links contained on our pages from "you@your.isp" to "you*replacewith@*your.isp". To send an email, just do what it says - replace the "*replacewith@*" with the "@" symbol.
If YOU have spam filtering enabled, please be sure to add "@MendotaAlumni.com" to your safe sender list so that you will continue to receive our newsletters!

Atodnems Available
Larry Sebby, former Superintendent at MHS, tells us that
there are many old Atodnems available.
Most years have 10-15 books in stock and some go back quite a few years.
Price is only $10 a book.

Mendota Videos Available
Mendota Museum & Historical Society would like to have all classes know that
they have a fantastic video available for sale. It is the "History of Mendota".
It covers from 1853-2003. It recently received an award in the "Public
Programming" category from the Illinois State Historical Society. It is
available in VHS for $20.00 and DVD for $25.00. If someone from your class
will contact the
Mendota Museum & Historical Society
at 539-3373, we can arrange to have some available at your reunion. Or,
they may be purchased at the Hume-Carnegie or the Union Depot Railroad Museums
(as well as some other locations) at any time.
Magnificient Whistle Stop Available
There are copies of the reprint of the Magnificent Whistle Stop available
through the Mendota Museum and Historical Society. They can be purchased at the
Union Depot Railroad Museum, the Hume-Carnegie Museum, or the Mendota Chamber of
Commerce for $20 each ($18 to members of
MMHS). If someone from your class reunion contacts them, they can have them
available at your reunion.
